Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Recruiter (Contract) Near Dallas, TX

Overview:
The TA Recruiter is responsible for recruiting exempt and non-exempt positions for commercial sales in multiple locations utilizing various sourcing methods. This role will collaborate with internal hiring partners on strategic and tactical recruitment efforts through creative sourcing methods, networking, and employment branding.
This position will be remote, but preferred candidates will live in Central US - TX, CO, MO, IN, AR, KS, NE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Source potential candidates via job boards, social networking, passive recruiting techniques, and other available methodologies.
  • Develop relationships with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to foster a working relationship that is conducive to the overall success of the hiring process.
  • Determine recruiting strategies, based on opening and role, and source adequately.
  • Manage the interview process by scheduling and communicating with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Utilize an Applicant Tracking System to track and advance candidates through the workflow.
  • Accurately describe the available position and provide a realistic job preview.
  • Gather and analyze timely candidate and interviewer feedback.
  • Ensure candidate requirements are met and successfully disposition candidates accordingly after the interview process.
  • Understand and fully comply with laws, regulations, and internal processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Create, track, and finalize appropriate paperwork, including requisitions, offer and decline letters, etc.
  • Assist College Recruiting Manager by traveling to career fair sites and facilitating candidate selection.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting team on ideas to improve processes, strategies, or move the department forward.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of working experience in a corporate role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel overnight, approximately 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in recruiting sales roles.
  • General knowledge interviewing principles.
  • General understanding of labor laws, regulations, and internal processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong ability to work with the team and build relationships throughout the organization.
  • General knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands:
  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine.
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to the rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs.
